On saturday, Ryan and I will be leaving for Hawaii for 8 days. It will be a nice vacation, however, Gavin will be staying home. How am I feeling with this? Well......I am a little sad. I haven't cried yet, but I know tomorrow night as I put him to sleep there will be tears.
I know that we all need a break, and yes absence makes the heart grow stronger, but I have been with my baby from day one. I sat by him bedside in the NICU everyday! I wake every morning knowing that I get to walk into his room when he wakes up and love him thru the day.
