For the last 2 weeks Gavin has been waking up at 3:00am! Why this early? I am asking myself the same question.....Could it be growing pains, more teeth trying to come thru, a bad dream, a noise, or just needing more love from either mom or dad? I am not sure, but Ryan and I are hoping that his old schedule will come back soon. (10-14 hour nights)
When I hear Gavin crying at 3:00am, I lay in bed hoping he will go back to sleep on his own. After many minutes go by, I drag my sleepy body out of bed and walk in to see him standing with little tears rolling down his face. Once I pick him up and tell him it's ok, he snuggles into my chest and the crying stops as if I am his super hero. My heart just melts with the love that pours out for him as I am holding him close.
So, I will be patient with him, he is just a growing little boy and doesn't know why he is awake at this time either. Hope you are getting more sleep than we are here at the Oberg house.
