Last week Gavin and I had the chance to see some of our special friends from the NICU. Although Jenny's husband, Joel, was in Ghana, I had the chance to see Joyce, Jenny's mom, again. (I just love her so!)
Jenny had twins, Sam and Amelia on April 11, 2007. It turns out we were due about a week from eachother in June 2007, but both our families learned how fast things can change.
After spending 101 days in the NICU, we said many hello's and goodbyes to families and their babies, but we made a very special connection with the Hunt family! We have many things to be thankful for and the most important is our friendship and of course our HAPPY and HEALTHY babies!!!
Thanks Jenny, Joyce, Sam and Amelia for the laughter, the tears (that I cried), and the screaming babies on that wonderful July afternoon! I am looking forward to seeing all of you again soon!

That was one of the sweetest days I can remember and I look so forward to seeing you on my next visit. Gavin is such a sweet boy and is doing so well.
